In the summer of 2007, ex-bandmates Andy and Scott, formerly of legendary early 90s Bishop's Stortford-based covers band the jjARrS, were kicking their heels and so decided to dust off their organs for a tinkle and a strum. Around that time, non-musical friend Ciaran decided to buy a bass guitar, for reasons best known to himself, and we all headed to a chilly garden shed to make a lot of noise, christening ourselves Goat Patrol somewhere along the way.
In December 2008 we finally concluded that the world was ready for Goat Patrol's clutch of indie, rock and pop classics. That initial gig was met with a mixed reception to put it diplomatically. However, by May 2009 we had learned how to operate the sound system, discovered that the accelerating critical acclaim was genuine and the Goats found themselves in demand.
